I remember when I used to be soooo ashamed of my anxiety, not wanting to talk about it, not wanting to cry (when my body wanted me to release emotions), just annoyed that it was showing up.
when I think of anxiety now, it’s a great indicator that maybe I’ve forgotten myself a little bit... or maybe I’m too worried about the future instead of focusing on the now. It’s a great indicator that I need to realign, ground myself, and something as simple as a reminder to breathe.

it’s all in the perspective. thank your anxiety for showing up and thank it for reminding you to be present in this moment.
